In the outskirts of Anykščiai town is a hill of Kalita, which is surrounded by many legends. From autumn 2009 it offers an enjoyable time in all the seasons as here is opened a Alpine-coaster attraction, the only one such kind of track in Lithuania. So far, the proposed entertainment and emotions experienced on the Kalita Hill were dependent on the unpredictable winter weather. This reason and status of resort area enabled to look for new ways to exploit the advantages of the mountain not only in the winter time and to stand out from other areas of the same status. An idea to install the Alpine-coaster ramp in Anykščiai was matured in the last five years with a clear vision of Kalita hill as a whole active entertainment center.
This entertainment gives an opportunity to spend a nice leisure time to all family, friends or colleagues together. It is readily available to all ages groups - grandparents with grandchildren, parents with children.
In the opinion of company which installed the Alpine-coaster in Anykščiai, Kalita hill is unique by its relief and it gives a possibility to get different sensations by the going down in the speed of 40 km/h.
